FAQs

Question:

The consistency of my most recent product appears to be different than my last. Do I need to be concerned?
Answer
- There will be slight variations from batch to batch, since these products are created in small batches for freshness and effectiveness. However, if a product arrives with a strong, unpleasant smell to it, please contact us.

Question: My Vitamin C Glow Serum is turning darker, why is that?

Answer -Vitamin C serums darken over time due to a process called oxidation. Vitamin C (L-Ascorbic Acid) is highly effective but also quite delicate. You can continue to feel good about using your Vitamin C product, but be sure you are storing it in a cool place for optimum potency.

Question:

Do I need to store my products in a cool place?
Answer -
While refrigeration isn't required, keeping your products in a cool, dark place will help them perform best. Our natural, active ingredients stay powerful thanks to amber bottle protection. We use amber bottles to protect light-sensitive, natural ingredients, ensuring their potency and effectiveness.

Question:

The consistency of my face creams seems to be changing, what can I do?
Answer -
If your face creams are within the 12-month timeframe, but the texture appears "looser", you can refrigerate it to create a thicker consistency. This pertains mostly to formulations created with Coconut Oil.

Question:

Should I use my Beauty Oil before or after my moisturizer?

Answer - In general, it's recommended to apply your face oil after moisturizing. Here's why:

Face oils tend to be occlusive, meaning they form a barrier on the skin's surface, this helps trap moisture. Skincare products are typically applied from thinnest to thickest consistency. Layering the oil after allows the moisturizer's benefits to reach your skin first. However, you can use your Beauty Oil any time of day for a boost of hydration, and to help foundation to go on smoother during the day. It's really about what works best for your skin!
